About These Bronze Sculptures Kenneth Johnson is an award winning California sculptor. He is one of the few bronze sculptors who casts and meticulously finishes his unique bronze sculptures himself. Kenneth uses high quality silicon bronze for his pieces and finishes each original piece by hand to ensure a quality sculpture. All pieces are waxed to seal the finish. The finished bronze sculpture will last for thousands of years. A select number of pieces are being recreated in very limited editions by the Monterey Sculpture Center foundry in Northern California under Kenneth’s direction. If a piece is not in inventory, the exacting process of casting a new edition takes 8 to 12 weeks. A wide variety of patina (chemical oxidation) colors are available. A 50% deposit is required to start this process. For small works, weighing less than 15 lbs., packaging and shipping costs are paid by the Gallery.
